PRP therapy is a studied approach of regenerative medicine that relies on the biological activity of platelet growth factors involved in tissue repair and healing processes.
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) contains a high concentration of PRP growth factors that play a key role in cellular communication, tissue regeneration and biological repair mechanisms.
Within this scientific context, PRP PROFACTOR® was developed as part of the ongoing research into how platelet biology and our product PRP PROFACTOR® may influence the activity of platelet-rich treatment.
A real medical need
The human body takes between 7 and 10 days to regenerate all its platelets. Depending on nutrition and food intake, these platelets can be of higher or lower quality. That’s why we created PRP PROFACTOR®, regenerative medicine that guarantees high-quality platelet regeneration.
The Mechanism of Action of PRP PROFACTOR®
PRP PROFACTOR® is administered 15 days prior to PRP preparation. This timing considers the average lifespan of circulating platelets (7-10 days) and their biological turnover.
The mechanism is based on the relationship between platelet biology and PRP protocol preparation before blood collection.
